Welcome to Rooted in Time Genealogy where we are dedicated to assisting individuals with their journey of self discovery through ancestral knowledge. Rooted in Time Genealogical Services will use best genealogical practices to research, identify, document and factually reconstruct a detailed genealogical history with and for clients. I began Rooted in Time Genealogical Services after spending 15 years as a hobbyist researching my genealogy as well as those of friends along the way. My master’s degree in history set the practical foundational tools I needed to construct detailed genealogies set in the context of history. My fundamental curiosity in understanding the question of nature vs nurture took me further into such research. Rooted in Time Genealogical Services is the result of this confluence. Rooted in Time Genealogical Services will offer genealogical services to individuals who wish to learn about their past to better understand both themselves and those who came before them. Rooted in Time will not only provide detailed historical evidence to prove connections but will seek to reconstruct the societal, social, economic and familial implications that may have influenced an ancestor.
