FREE CONSULTATION

All clients and families can have a free 30 minute consultation to determine what research paradigm is best for them. If it is breaking through a brick wall, hourly may be best. If a client wants a broad base, the Starter Tree Package may be best. If the client wants a full genealogical history and report, the more advanced packages may work best.

Hourly Rate

This is for a person who would like research regarding a very specific question that may not reach the 10 hour threshold. If the research and writing reaches the 5 hour mark, the person may then decide to roll funds rolled into a Starter Tree or Advanced Package.

RECORD RETRIEVAL

Copying, photography, and retrieval of records from the Hartford, Connecticut Metro and Surrounding areas. Record Retrieval services are for researchers who know the location of a record they are looking for, but do not live in the immediate area. If research is involved to find a record, please consider hourly genealogical services.

Full Package Genealogy in Context: Tree & Report 

This is for the person who  has direction regarding what they want to know and know they want a full report that puts the identified ancestors/generations into context. This report includes research on up to 6 direct line generations on one family line.

Starter Tree Package

This package is ideal for the individual(s) and families who know they want to broad understanding about their ancestry, but don't know where to start. The free 30 minute consultation and a total of 10 hours researching and writing time is included in this package. A family tree, Ahnentafel Report and possible future source material will be generated.

Proprietary Services

This is for the person who knows what they want and it exceeds the parameters of the packages available. You get the free 30 minute consult and an estimate of the final price of research will be agreed upon prior to beginning research.
